Technical Staff in department Planning and Control of Production and Logistics Systems (PSPS), Faculty Production Engineering at the University of Bremen.
Curriculum Vitae
Emil Harlan studied Systems Engineering (B.Sc.) at the University of Bremen with a specialization in Aerospace Engineering and completed his degree in July 2025. Since 2023, he has been working as a student assistant at BIBA, contributing to the projects KoMAR and SMART. In KoMAR, he developed a digital twin for trajectory planning, while in SMART he worked on a system for dynamic control and task allocation in collaborative assembly processes. His bachelor's thesis focused on the development of a decentralized agent system for the cooperative movement of components in modular assembly stations.
Since August 1st, 2025, Emil has been working as a technical staff member at BIBA, continuing his work in the SMART project. His main research interests lie in human-robot collaboration and interaction, as well as mobile robotics.
